Quercus palustris

Common Name: Oak, Pin

Compact, broadly pyramidal form.  Easy to transplant.  Red fall color turns to brown.  Often will hold many leaves throught winter.  Exceptional branching and dense growth.  One of the fastest growing oaks.  Native.  Very versatile and used for lawns, parks, golf courses, commercial and streets.  Always a favorite!
